Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Specialist 2 to support our assigned region or temporarily assigned territory with planned maintenance activities and other actions as required. The successful candidate will install, support, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all Intuitive products, ensuring all service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled maintenance activities, including system inspections, preventive maintenance, software updates, system recalls, field actions, and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all Intuitive products and associated equipment within specified timeframes.
  • Coordinate and perform system and hardware delivery and installation.
  • Ensure compliance with protocol and HIPAA standards.
  • Complete administrative duties, including spare parts inventory, field activity reports, return material authorizations, and expense reports.
  • Maintain all Intuitive provided items, including issued tooling, calibrated tool sets, employee vehicles, laptops, iPads, and other company-owned assets.
  • Support Intuitive teams as required to facilitate company objectives.
  • Provide feedback to HQ and participate in continuous improvement projects.
  • Complete required training items, including equipment training for Intuitive products and professional development courses.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-3 years of field service experience.
  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent training/experience.
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting electro-mechanical systems.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • General computer skills.
  • Strong administrative and record-keeping skills.

Working Conditions

  • Able to lift 75 lbs and move wheeled objects up to 1200 lbs.
  • Clean driving record.
