Job Title: Custodian Supervisor

Miracle Duct Cleaning is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Custodian Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of cleaning staff to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
  • Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates for cleaning and maintenance projects.
  • Recommend or arrange for additional services required, such as painting, repair work, or replacement of furnishings and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs.
  • Assist cleaners in performing duties and coordinate work activities with other departments.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the cleaning or maintenance industry.
  • College or CEGEP education, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, wet/damp environments, and with odours, dust, and other hazardous materials.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of cleaning staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality service.
Working Conditions:
  • Work site environment: confined spaces, wet/damp environments, odours, dust, and other hazardous materials.
  • Work setting: office building, cleaning service company, commercial facility, hotel, motel, resort, or school/educational institution.
  • Physical demands: standing for extended periods, combination of sitting, standing, and walking, manual dexterity, and repetitive tasks.

  • Criminal record check required.
