Job Summary

Combined Metal Industries is seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair
    • Conduct thorough inspections of trucks and trailers to identify potential issues and defects
    • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Diagnostic and Troubleshooting
    • Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and diagnose complex mechanical issues
    • Develop and implement effective solutions to resolve problems
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Collaborate with supervisors and other team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination
    • Provide clear and concise updates on repair status and progress
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
    • Truck and Transport Mechanic Red Seal Endorsement
  • Experience and Skills
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance
    • Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
