Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Chef Big D's Deli and Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Operations
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays
    • Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
