Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at CRANAplus. The successful candidate will provide leadership, operational management, and nursing consultancy for the palliative care service within the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a Breast Cancer resource person for staff and patients and their significant others throughout the region.
  • Provides clinical breast cancer nursing knowledge and case management within the WACHS region.
  • Demonstrates leadership and role modelling.
  • Promotes maintenance of clinical standard setting and monitoring, policy development, and change management as required to improve the breast cancer patient's management.

Requirements
  • Eligibility for registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated experience in working effectively and harmoniously within a multidisciplinary health care team and independently.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and clinical/professional knowledge in the provision of breast cancer nursing care.
  • Demonstrated high level interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Demonstrated well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated high level of organisational and time management skills.
  • Extensive knowledge and application of quality improvement, research, and best practice principles.
  • Possession of a current WA C Class driver's licence or equivalent.
