Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records of hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes, to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Collaborate with other drivers to ensure efficient route planning and minimize delays.
  • Adhere to all company policies and regulations, including those related to safety, security, and environmental sustainability.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally.
  • Basic security clearance and willingness to undergo a criminal record check.
  • Ability to work overtime and adapt to changing schedules and routes.
