Job Title: Ready-Mix Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Ready-Mix Truck Driver to join our team at Wild Rose Ready Mix Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete and asphalt to various construction sites.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate Ready-Mix Truck: Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete and asphalt to construction sites.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En-Route, and Post-Trip Inspections: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is safe and compliant with regulations.
  • Load and Unload Goods: Load and unload goods, including concrete and asphalt, at construction sites.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch regarding delivery schedules, traffic, and other relevant information.
  • Maintain Vehicle: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and repairing the vehicle as needed.
Requirements:
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid Class 1 or A driver's license.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a ready-mix truck driver or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work Environment:

Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent exposure to heavy machinery, loud noises, and varying weather conditions.
