About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Farm Laborer to join our team at Dunphy's Poultry Farm Ltd. as a key member of our farm operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animal Care: Ensure the health and well-being of our poultry flock by monitoring animal health, performing livestock feeding, and treating health issues.
  • Farm Maintenance: Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain livestock performance records, quality control and production records, and work records and logs.
  • Disease Detection: Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry.
  • General Farm Duties: Perform general farm duties, including setting and monitoring water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands. The ability to work independently, under pressure, and with attention to detail is essential.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 50 hours per week.
