Dunphy's Poultry Farm Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Farm Hand to join our team. As a Farm Hand, you will be responsible for handling animals, monitoring animal health, and performing livestock feeding tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Handle animals with care and attention to detail
  • Monitor animal health and detect any disease or health problems
  • Perform livestock feeding tasks, including feeding and tending to animals
  • Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
  • Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
  • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
  • Maintain livestock performance records and quality control records
  • Perform general farm duties, including setting and monitoring water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
Work Environment:

The Farm Hand will work in a fast-paced environment with a physically demanding job. The ability to work independently, under pressure, and with attention to detail is essential. The work involves a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Quick learner with a strong attention to detail
  • Team player with a positive attitude
