**Job Summary**

We are seeking a qualified Registered Physiotherapist to join our team in Durham Region. As a Physiotherapist with pt Health, you will have the opportunity to work in a flexible and supportive environment, providing ministry-funded, community-based physiotherapy services to adults in their place of residence.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide physiotherapy assessment and treatment in the areas of geriatrics, neurology, orthopedics, and palliative care
  • Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans in collaboration with clients and caregivers
  • Assign patient care plans and provide supervision and monitoring of physiotherapy assistants when appropriate
  • Provide education to clients and caregivers, and link to community agencies and resources when necessary
  • Complete and maintain documentation related to assessment findings, care plans, progress, and discharge summaries

**Requirements**

  • Registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Experience in working in a community setting is preferred, but new graduates will be considered
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an inter-professional team
  • Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling, and meet reporting deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and report writing
  • Proficiency with computers
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation is required for this position
