Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our interdisciplinary team at New Brunswick Extra-Mural (EMP)-Programme extra-mural (PEM) du Nouveau-Brunswick. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in coordinating and providing quality care to patients and families by promoting, maintaining, and/or restoring functional performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and provide physiotherapy services to patients and families, promoting functional performance and independence.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for rehabilitation.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families, empowering them to take an active role in their care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in physiotherapy, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor and/or Master's Degree of Science in Physiotherapy or an equivalent.
  • Registration and membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of New Brunswick and eligibility for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Knowledge of the target population of Extra-Mural Services and available community services.
  • Valid New Brunswick Class 5 Driver's License and good driving record.
  • Current CPR Level C certification.
  • Ability to work efficiently as a member of the team, possessing leadership and coaching skills, strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work all shifts as assigned, maintaining a good attendance record.
  • High regard for confidentiality.
  • Excellent work habits and professional appearance.
