We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Hootsuite Inc. as a key member of our procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing our global procurement process, driving cost savings, and improving procurement operations.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Process Optimization: Oversee and project manage purchases from across the organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Strategic Sourcing: Provide advice to all levels of the organization on departmental purchasing priorities, technology stack, and negotiation strategy.
- Process Design and Implementation: Design, build, and implement purchasing-related processes to drive efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop and analyze systems to provide data-driven insights into the organization's spend, and use those insights to continually improve processes and execution.
- Consolidated Software Budget Management: Manage and optimize the company's consolidated software budget, ensuring value, accountability, and efficiency.
- Intake-to-Pay Cycle Optimization: Work with the finance department and other stakeholders to optimize the company's intake-to-pay cycle.
- Sales RFP Management: Drive revenue by quarterbacking sales RFPs, and develop comprehensive processes to enable the sales team to execute on RFPs more successfully.
- Extensive Procurement Experience: Extensive relevant procurement/purchasing experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SaaS Procurement Experience: Some practical experience in SaaS procurement, including familiarity and comfort level with hardware procurement.
- Education and Certifications: Post-secondary education with a focus on business, supply chain, finance, or a related field; bonus points for CSCP, SCMP, or other supply chain management certifications.
