We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Kids Zone Childcare Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Development and Education
    • Assess children's development to create personalized learning plans.
    • Develop and implement child-care programs that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Child Care and Support
    • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
    • Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
    • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs.
  • Environment and Safety
    • Maintain daycare equipment.
    • Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Discuss progress and problems of children at staff meetings.
    • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience or equivalent experience.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Knowledge of licensing regulations.
    • Ability to multitask.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with 37.5 hours of work per week. The work environment is non-smoking and air-conditioned.
