Overview:

Green Diamond Equipment is a prominent John Deere dealership in the Maritime region, and we are seeking a committed and skilled individual to take on the role of Parts Counter Sales Representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to promote and sell parts and accessories that fulfill their requirements.
  • Accurately document all sales and counter transactions, ensuring that parts orders are processed completely when customers receive their items.
  • Provide Service Technicians with necessary parts as requested.
  • Assist in the preparation and upkeep of merchandise displays while ensuring the parts department remains organized and tidy.
  • Verify the receipt of shipments and aid in placing Machine Down and Stock Orders in their designated inventory locations.
  • Follow up on any shortages and expedite resolutions by communicating with management.
  • Help maintain all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in optimal working condition.
  • Contribute to maintaining departmental reports, including inventory discrepancies.
  • Collaborate on reports, projects, or parts-related tasks assigned by the Parts Manager.
  • Work alongside other departments as directed by the Parts Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in basic data entry and keyboarding.
  • Familiarity with parts and machinery.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
