Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers, ensuring high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train kitchen staff, including cooks, assistants, and other support personnel, to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive a positive dining experience.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication, dependability, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, and team player.
