About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Construction Site Assistant at Akaal Renovations. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Help erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt, and assist in cleaning and piling salvaged materials.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and removing rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, and direct traffic at or near construction sites as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Environment: Be willing to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and be physically fit to handle heavy loads.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Availability: Be willing to travel regularly and work a standard 40-hour week.
