About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team at WESCO 150 MILE. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, receive payment for goods or services, and handle returns and exchanges in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain Store Appearance: Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked, and report any maintenance or repair issues to management.
  • Work Collaboratively: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and maintain a positive and respectful work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Setting: Retail business environment.
  • Tasks: Will train on the job.
  • Experience: Permanent position with 40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
