Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to partner and client inquiries in a timely and efficient manner, providing knowledgeable solutions and following through on commitments.
  • Process partner and client requests, including inquiries, transactions, and case work, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
  • Exercise discretion to correct problems that result in high client satisfaction, completing updates, corrections, and adjustments to client accounts within authorized limits.
  • Adhere to policies and practices that regulate the Contact Centre, Scotia iTRADE, and the Investment Industry, minimizing risk and losses while contributing to optimal Centre efficiency.
  • Initiate cross-sell and referral opportunities, recognizing and appropriately actioning quality opportunities to solidify existing Scotia iTRADE business and create new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years industry experience, with a strong understanding of the investment industry and its policies and procedures.
  • Ability to identify cross-sell and referral opportunities, with a focus on providing exceptional client service and experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of back office functionalities and the ability to learn new tasks quickly and accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads to ensure optimum telephone coverage and adherence to established service standards.
