Job Title: Practicum Sites Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Practicum Sites Coordinator plays a vital role in the Nursing Practicum Coordination Office (NPCO) team at York University. This position supports the development, coordination, and maintenance of student practicum placements for all undergraduate and graduate programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and coordination of student practicum placements
  • Maintain relationships with healthcare partners and stakeholders
  • Coordinate logistics and administrative tasks related to practicum placements
  • Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, and healthcare partners
  • Collaborate with the NPCO team to achieve unit and organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Nursing
  • Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (with current registration with The College of Nurses of Ontario)
  • 2 years of leadership experience in nursing
  • Experience using databases and analyzing data
  • Community-based and acute care experience is an asset
  • Experience working with nursing students in clinical practicum settings is an asset

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with e-documentation systems
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
