About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team at RhynoCare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Ensure timely and safe resident transfers and discharges, adhering to established protocols.
- Manage medications and narcotics safely and effectively, following established procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive orientations for new residents, ensuring a smooth transition to our care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent degree.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification and valid First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulations and standards, including the Long Term Care Act and Program Standards for Long Term Care.
- Medical clearance and a clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
