We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at GEM Health Care Group. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents in a nursing home setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Prepare and serve meal trays, and assist with feeding residents as needed.
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position residents with care and attention to detail.
- Make beds and maintain residents' rooms to a high standard.
- Answer call signals and respond to residents' needs in a timely and compassionate manner.
- Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
- Experience: Experience an asset.
- Criminal record check, immunization records, and tuberculosis test required.
Our nursing home is a fast-paced environment where you will work under pressure to provide excellent care to our residents. You will be required to stand for extended periods, walk, and perform repetitive tasks.
