What We're Looking For

We're seeking a talented Intermediate Designer with 3-8 years of experience in road systems and/or highway design. Your expertise in geometric design principles, Ontario design standards, and client-specific requirements will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and complete roadway, highway, and freeway projects, as well as multi-modal corridors, under the direction of senior staff.
  • Produce design work in an integrated 3D environment that meets or exceeds company and industry quality standards.
  • Apply technical knowledge and coordination skills to solve problems on complex multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Potential to act as a technical lead or lead drafter for a defined scope of work.
  • Potential to contact and coordinate with sub-disciplines and external agencies.
  • Supervise the performance of more junior team members.
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering.
  • MTO and/or Metrolinx experience is an asset but not required.
  • Interest or experience with new design tools and technologies, such as BIM platforms, design programming, visualizations, and automation, are considered assets.
  • Experience with Construction Administration & Inspection are considered assets.
