Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical specifications provided by the Director and other experts.
- Generate technical drawings and necessary documentation for production.
- Develop, update, or adjust digital patterns for production.
- Construct prototypes and oversee the transition to mass production.
- Maintain ongoing communication with both international and local suppliers to facilitate the exchange of technical documents and adjustments.
- Monitor project timelines to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Input and synchronize all relevant technical information in the corporate database.
- Degree in Industrial Design or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of the design and assembly processes for load carriage systems and personal protective equipment.
- Experience with various industrial sewing machines for product assembly.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office and intermediate skills in Adobe Illustrator and InDesign.
- Intermediate knowledge of pattern design software such as PAD System, Gerber Accumark, or similar.
- Familiarity with 3D CAD software like Rhino, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks is advantageous.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is essential; knowledge of Vietnamese is a plus.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and organized.
- Demonstrated autonomy, professionalism, and teamwork capabilities.
