Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide guidance and training to staff members on job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory of ingredients and supplies to ensure efficient meal preparation.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet our high standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Communication: Prepare food order summaries for the chef and supervise the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
  • Team Management: Establish work schedules and supervise a team of 1-2 kitchen and food service helpers.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
