The School of Business + Media: Digital Arts, Media and Design department at BCIT is seeking a temporary, part-time Instructor for the New Media Design and Web Development diploma program. We are looking for talented professionals with a passion for innovation and quality in teaching to contribute to our dynamic learning environment.
Your Responsibilities:
- Share your expertise in areas such as Web Technologies, Graphic Design, and Animation for New Media within our Web and Mobile programs.
- Engage with students, deliver high-quality curriculum, and stay current on industry trends to ensure a relevant and engaging learning experience.
- Leverage your teaching experience in Digital Photography, Social Media Networking, and Project Management for New Media to guide student success.
Your Qualifications:
- Hold a degree in a related field with at least five years of experience in the New Media Design and Web Development industry.
- Demonstrate proven success in the industry and possess strong teaching skills to effectively mentor students.
- Exhibit excellent communication, coaching, and assessment abilities to provide constructive feedback and support student growth.
- Be a collaborative team player with a flexible and creative presentation style to foster an engaging learning environment.
