Faculty Position in New Media Design and Web Development

Job Summary:
BCIT's School of Business + Media: Digital Arts, Media and Design department is seeking highly talented, motivated, and qualified professionals to become temporary, part-time Instructors for the New Media Design and Web Development diploma.
Job Responsibilities:
- Teach a range of courses across the Web and Mobile programs, including Digital Photography, Web Services and File Management, Web Technologies, and more.
- Develop and deliver quality curriculum that meets the needs of students and the industry.
- Assess student learning and provide feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum five years of experience in New Media Design and Web Development.
- Demonstrated industry success and appropriate and current experience and skills in the instructional areas noted above.
- Experience in post-secondary teaching and student evaluation skills.
- Ability to prepare, deliver, and administer relevant and applied course material.
- Excellent communication and interaction skills.
