About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at PUR & SIMPLE Breakfast & Lunch. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
  • Training: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Restaurant
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
