Job Title: Outside Sales Representative, Business Solutions

The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating and boosting equipment sales through active involvement in the operational process of sales. This includes supporting consulting engineers, selecting air conditioning, ventilation, and heating equipment, and collaborating with the sales team from the preliminary project through the end of the sales process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building relationships in the HVAC-R industry
  • Visiting customers and worksites
  • Selecting equipment in design documents
  • Ensuring products worked on with consulting engineers are specified
  • Conducting visits and presentations with consulting engineers
  • Analyzing and qualifying projects submitted by the internal team
  • Checking and participating in preparing product equivalence tables
  • Promoting equipment supported by the company
  • Acting as a leader and coach for the internal support and estimation team
  • Being involved throughout the sales process
  • Submitting bids for pre-purchasing equipment
  • Making technical drawings, specifying company products when needed
Requirements:
  • Diploma in building mechanic with experience in the field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning
  • Experience in technical sales
  • Contact network in HVAC-R is an asset
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Ability to travel within specified territory, with additional travel to Sudbury offices 3-4 times per year
