About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Operations Manager to join our team at Umbrella Burger. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our food services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Conduct regular assessments of our food services operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Monitor Staff Performance: Supervise and evaluate the performance of our food services staff, providing feedback and coaching to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement plans to ensure the smooth operation of our food services, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
  • Recruit and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop our food services staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Regulations: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed in our food services operations, including food handling and preparation, sanitation, and waste management.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that issues are resolved to the customer's satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food services management role.
  • Supervision: 5-10 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, organized, reliable, team player, ability to multitask.
