About the Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and professional Wellness Coach to join our team at Shannex Incorporated. As a Wellness Coach, you will play a vital role in enhancing the overall wellness and quality of life for our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with residents to assess their engagement in meaningful activities and develop personalized wellness plans.
  • Assist residents in achieving their wellness goals and provide support in defining strategies for success.
  • Develop and implement community-wide wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Foster partnerships with local businesses and community groups to enhance program development.
  • Manage the Harmony Program technology to facilitate communication with residents and staff.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the Harmony Program and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Harmony & Wellness team to develop a comprehensive wellness strategy for our communities.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about the healthcare sector and ensuring seniors have access to quality accommodations, services, and care. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Post-secondary education in recreation/leisure studies or a related field.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Experience working with seniors in a recreational environment.
  • Ability to provide a clear criminal record check.
  • Advanced proficiency in the English language.
  • Previous experience in long-term care or senior living environments is an asset.
