Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our team at Emergent BioSolutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products according to our production schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and manufacturing areas.
- Perform water sampling and EM sampling as required.
- Maintain inventory of consumables in cleanrooms.
- Follow all written procedures according to GMP standards.
- Assist in process activities with technicians as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Assist with competency assessments and training.
- Report to production supervisor on designated shift.
- Collaborate with other production staff and company departments to ensure production schedule is maintained.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmaceutical manufacturing diploma considered an asset.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience; previous experience working in a regulated environment strongly preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow standard operating procedures, protocols, work instructions, and other policies/procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a group environment or alone.
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge or ability to learn pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability and flexibility to adapt to and complete shift work including days, evenings, and nights.
- Able to work on ladders or at heights when required.
- Ability to lift and move materials/equipment when needed.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and criminal background check.
- Reliable transportation to work on-site required.
