About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at BioScript Solutions. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with dispensing activities, including prescription checks, filling, and billing, as well as reporting adverse effects or events.
  • Contribute to inventory management, including receiving orders and counting inventory on a weekly basis.
  • Communicate with healthcare providers and programs to secure prescriptions and resolve coverage issues.
  • Respond to stakeholder inquiries in a timely manner, including monitoring email accounts and answering phones.
  • Provide excellent patient-centered care in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate documentation is completed and submitted during shifts, including Post Infusion Feedback Reports and Adverse Event reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with new protocols, procedures, and information to ensure pharmacy practice is current.
  • Adhere to Cold Chain standards for biologics and specialty drug products stored and shipped by the pharmacy.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Exceptional customer service skills in dealing with patients, physicians, and clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision as part of a larger remote team.
  • Effective interpersonal and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Registered Technician in the province of Ontario.
