Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacy operations and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the day-to-day management of pharmacy workload, collaborating with pharmacists and pharmacy assistants to fulfill prescription orders.
- Work independently on labeling and filling/refilling prescriptions, performing an independent double check for repeat prescription release.
- Verify that customers receive correct prescriptions, identifying potential therapeutic issues and seeking the pharmacist's therapeutic check.
- Collaborate with Innomar and ABSG Patient Programs to fulfill pharmacy responsibilities, preparing and reviewing billings, claims, disbursements, and related documents.
- Assist patients picking up prescriptions, entering prescriptions into the computer, retrieving and/or correcting data, and screening calls to gather relevant information for pharmacists.
- Order, maintain, and prepare inventory of medications, reviewing invoices or other documentation, and packing and shipping prescription orders.
- Receive and maintain accurate inventory, reporting adverse events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards and internal and contractual obligations.
- Pharmacy Technician diploma from an accredited college and successful completion of Structured Practical Training or successful completion of Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) Bridging Program and a Certificate of Registration with OCP.
- Two or more years of related pharmacy experience, with strong proficiency in Kroll and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Bilingualism, French/English is an asset.
