Your Role

As a Ruminant Dairy Technical Specialist, you will work directly with dairy producers in Southwestern Ontario to achieve sales goals and support farm objectives. Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing dairy sales strategies to drive growth.
  • Providing market intelligence to the Ruminant Business Manager.
  • Conducting farm visits to evaluate needs and collaborate with our dairy nutritionist to develop tailored solutions.
  • Partnering with dairy farm managers to identify challenges and create effective solutions.
  • Educating customers on the benefits of using New-Life Mills products for dairy operations.
  • Ration balancing using AMTS software in collaboration with a central nutrition team.
  • Organizing dairy producer meetings and actively participating in industry trade shows.
  • Continuously seeking professional development opportunities through conferences and training.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in the dairy industry.
  • Valid Canadian driver's license in good standing.
  • Strong knowledge of the Canadian Feed Industry.
  • Knowledge of small ruminants is an asset.
  • Solid understanding of the Canadian dairy market and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
