Job Title: Director, Planning and IT Strategy

The Finance and Corporate Services Division at the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer is seeking a highly skilled Director, Planning and IT Strategy to lead the development and implementation of our IT strategy.

This key leadership role will drive technological innovation, balance cutting-edge and established technologies, and ensure a stable, robust, and secure IT environment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading IT strategy, projects, and operations, including client experience and digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement IT strategies and programs to drive business growth and innovation
  • Build a collaborative work environment, infrastructure, resources, and technical skills for information management
  • Create a governance framework for IT quality standards
  • Regularly assess and mitigate cybersecurity and organizational risks
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive policies and procedures for information management, business continuity, privacy, and security
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Information Technology or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
