About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Reliability Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team at GlossGenius. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining a robust and scalable cloud infrastructure that supports our digital ventures. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with product and engineering teams to drive operational excellence and ensure the overall reliability of our platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing a reliable, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure
- Scaling the AWS cloud footprint to meet business demands
- Developing tools for swift problem identification and resolution
- Establishing incident management best practices
- Improving monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection
- Promoting a culture of reliability and SRE practices throughout the company
- Collaborating with engineering teams to optimize application performance and efficiency
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in cloud technologies and infrastructure management
- Expertise in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of networking and security concepts, including firewalls and access control
- Experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools
- Proficiency in a high-level programming language, such as Python or Java
- Ability to deliver projects effectively and manage multiple priorities
