About the Role:

DPC Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for the routine and preventative maintenance of our manufacturing and building equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment in breakdown situations to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.
  • Conduct PLC and HMI programming changes as required to maintain and upgrade equipment.
  • Collaborate with other trades groups to complete project assignments and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Work effectively in a processing environment to maintain food safety and quality standards.
  • Follow company policies and safety standards to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide training to plant staff as required to ensure knowledge transfer and skill development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in a related field.
  • Journeyman industrial Electrician ticket.
  • Good mechanical skills and the willingness to carry out general mechanical plant/equipment maintenance.
  • Good PLC and HMI troubleshooting and programming skills.
  • Excellent trouble shooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
