Spiritual Care Provider

University Health Network seeks a dedicated Spiritual Care Practitioner to provide compassionate support to patients, families, and staff within our interdisciplinary healthcare team.
As a member of the Department of Spiritual Care, you will play a vital role in ensuring that spirituality and diverse faith traditions are respected and honored throughout the patient journey.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct spiritual care to patients, families, and staff, addressing their unique needs and beliefs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate spiritual well-being into holistic patient care plans.
- Facilitate meaningful conversations about spirituality, values, and life purpose.
- Provide support and guidance during times of illness, grief, and loss.
- Promote a culture of respect and inclusivity for all individuals, regardless of their spiritual beliefs or practices.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates with:
- A Master's degree in Theology or Spiritual Care.
- Relevant clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent counseling and communication skills.
- A deep understanding of diverse spiritual traditions and practices.
- A commitment to providing compassionate and ethical care.
