Position Overview

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional nursing care? We are looking for a committed Registered Nurse who is dedicated to providing empathetic patient support to become a vital part of our healthcare team at Northern Health Authority.

In alignment with the established vision and values of our organization, the Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) operates in accordance with the professional standards and ethical guidelines set forth by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), while adhering to a resident and family-centered care approach.

The RN or RPN works across various clinical environments and is accountable for the assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of patient care.

Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, the RN or RPN ensures the provision of resident-centered care by assisting individual patients and their families in adapting to evolving healthcare needs.

The RN or RPN showcases a specialized knowledge base and grounds their practice in nursing science, complemented by insights from other scientific and humanistic disciplines.


Compensation:
The current wage is: $55.91/hour

Facility Overview
Our facility is designed to accommodate 58 residents in private rooms, each equipped with its own washroom. The layout includes three distinct wings, providing a comfortable and supportive environment for residents. On-site Recreation Therapy offers engaging activities, fostering community and connection among residents.

Required Qualifications
  • Active registration with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN or RPN.
  • Post-basic education in gerontology is considered an asset.
