- Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
This position is based in a vibrant restaurant setting, where creativity and teamwork are essential.
Responsibilities- Maintain comprehensive records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Guide cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
- Oversee kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations.
- Regularly prepare and cook meals, including special requests for guests.
- Plan and design menus that meet quality standards and cater to diverse dietary needs.
- Manage food requisition and kitchen supply orders.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
Must possess a Safe Food Handling certificate.
Cuisine ExpertiseSpecialization in East Indian cuisine is essential.
Work Conditions- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail.
- Highly organized and a strong team player.
