Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment

This position is based in a vibrant restaurant setting, where creativity and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain comprehensive records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Guide cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
  • Oversee kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations.
  • Regularly prepare and cook meals, including special requests for guests.
  • Plan and design menus that meet quality standards and cater to diverse dietary needs.
  • Manage food requisition and kitchen supply orders.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
Certifications

Must possess a Safe Food Handling certificate.

Cuisine Expertise

Specialization in East Indian cuisine is essential.
