Mechanical CAD Specialist

We are currently looking for a skilled Intermediate Mechanical CAD Designer to contribute to engineering projects in various sectors, including new constructions, refurbishments, and ongoing operational support for nuclear facilities.
Your Role in the TeamThis position involves engaging in dynamic and technically intricate projects within the nuclear sector. Key responsibilities will encompass:
- Generating electronic documentation using AutoCAD and/or Microstation, including sketching and 3D modeling.
- Adhering to a client-specific document management system for effective file organization.
- Producing engineering outputs for both nuclear and conventional systems in line with quality assurance protocols and project specifications.
- Implementing relevant codes, standards, and regulatory guidelines while collaborating with the design team to ensure adherence.
- Coordinating with engineering teams throughout the design process, from initial concepts to detailed execution and project completion, to deliver practical solutions.

- A college diploma or equivalent experience with at least 5 years in mechanical design and drafting.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Raster Design, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Micro Station, NavisWorks Freedom, and SolidWorks.
- Capability to interpret marked-up engineering drawings and update AutoCAD files accordingly.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Knowledge of ASME Code is considered advantageous.
