About the Role

We are seeking a skilled CAD operator to join our team at Print2Go. As a CAD operator, you will play a crucial role in preparing engineering designs and drawings, developing design sketches, and creating technical reports.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Drafting: Prepare engineering designs and drawings, develop and prepare design sketches, and create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD).
  • Technical Writing: Write technical reports, estimate costs and materials, and complete documentation packages and drawing sets.
  • Quality Control: Examine drawings for conformity and errors, and prepare contracts and other papers.
  • Software Proficiency: Operate CADD and other computer software systems, and create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD).
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, organized, and proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Work Environment
  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
