About the Role:

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing legal, financial, and securities translation projects, ensuring timely completion while upholding exceptional quality standards. This position demands outstanding organizational abilities and a strong focus on customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from initial setup and client coordination to translator matching and graphic design, culminating in project delivery.
  • Monitoring and managing project pricing, profit margins, and budgets.
  • Addressing client inquiries and providing solutions throughout the project phases, in collaboration with the project manager.
  • Enhancing customer service, operational efficiency, and relationships with resources.
  • Driving continuous product improvement by managing client translation memories, glossaries, and guidelines, while monitoring the performance of the linguistic team to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Collaborating with our Translations AI development team to support advancements in translation technology.

Qualifications:

  • A post-secondary degree in translation or a related discipline.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience as a project coordinator in the translation sector.
  • Proficiency in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong familiarity with MS Office and Google Workspace applications.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • A strong sense of accountability for project outcomes and responsibilities.
  • Technologically adept, with a passion for integrating technology into the translation industry.
  • Experience with translation management and memory software (e.g., Plunet, Memsource).

Work Schedule:

  • Standard working hours are from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, Monday to Friday, Eastern Standard Time.
  • This position is remote.
