About the Role

BioScript Logistics Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Data Management to join our team. As a key member of our senior technology team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's data management strategy and ensuring the effective use of data to drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Strategy and Architecture
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive data management strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
    • Lead the design and implementation of data architecture and infrastructure to support business needs.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data management initiatives.
    • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all systems and processes.
  • Data Governance
    • Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards.
    • Develop and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure data is aligned with business needs.
    • Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data catalogs.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of data management professionals to achieve business objectives.
    • Develop and implement training programs to ensure team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
    • Collaborate with other leaders to develop and implement company-wide data management initiatives.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in data management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing a team of data management professionals.
  • University degree or higher in a field related to computer science, business administration, or engineering.
  • Extensive experience with data governance, data architecture, and data quality.
  • Strong technical knowledge of data management tools and technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
