About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Spectrum Painting Ltd. as a key member of our painting crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and clean surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings to create a seamless surface.
  • Mix and apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages, and attach rigging to ensure safe access to high areas.
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, meeting high standards of quality and finish.
Surface Preparation Experience
  • Drywall taping and patching to create a smooth surface.
  • Water and hydroblasting to clean and prepare surfaces.
  • Steam cleaning to remove dirt and grime.
  • Sandblasting to smooth and prepare surfaces.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes.
  • Ability to distinguish between colors to select the perfect shade.
  • Bending, crouching, and kneeling to access hard-to-reach areas.
  • Physically demanding work requiring stamina and endurance.
Weight Handling
  • Ability to lift and handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
