Physiotherapist - Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health and IWK Health. As a Physiotherapist - Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist, you will play a key role in providing expert care to patients with cardiac conditions.
Reporting to the Health Services Manager, Primary Health Care, Chronic Disease Management and Wellness, you will utilize behavior change methods, case management, and client-centered approaches in individual or group settings. You will collaborate with Primary Health Care staff, family physicians, other healthcare providers, and community groups to provide comprehensive care to patients.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university, membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists, and eligibility for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. You will have experience providing group exercise prescriptions or other community programming, working as a member of a collaborative interdisciplinary team, and possessing excellent leadership skills.
You will be responsible for exercise program development, implementation, and evaluation, as well as completing intake assessments and facilitating group exercise programs. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills are required, and you will be required to travel to work in various community locations throughout the zone.

- Valid driver's license and daily access to a reliable car for travel
- Permanent full-time position; 75 hours bi-weekly
- Shifts include days, nights, and weekends
- Travel to various sites may be required
$33.96 - $42.89 Hourly
