About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at Big Brothers Food. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide guidance and training to warehouse staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Coordinate and assign tasks to ensure that all warehouse operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Operational Logistics
    • Plan and oversee the operational logistics of the warehouse, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, and storage.
    • Establish and maintain efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure maximum productivity and minimal downtime.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication
    • Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to staff to improve productivity and product quality.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders to ensure that all warehouse operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and reliable with excellent written communication skills
    • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
