About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Raymond Siu. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide essential care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Household Management: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, including laundry and meal preparation.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, reading, and watching movies.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by clients' healthcare providers.
  • Errands and Shopping: Assist clients with grocery shopping and other errands.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

As a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment and be required to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
