About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at PH Midland Inc. as a permanent employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform various accounting and bookkeeping tasks, such as calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and reconciling accounts.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances and other statistical reports.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and identify potential risks to the company's financial health.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Accurate, team player, and proficient in manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires strong organizational and time management skills.
