Position Overview

The Warehouse Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in our operations, reporting directly to the Warehouse General Manager. This position is essential for ensuring the effectiveness of the warehouse team while upholding our core values of Integrity, Improvement, Caring, Authenticity, and Determination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the warehouse department.
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Sales teams to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts.
  • Oversee branch profit and loss management.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of management experience.
  • Diploma in Warehouse Management or Logistics & Supply Chain.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Current or previous forklift certification.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and RF technology.
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and customer service abilities.
  • Solid background in Health & Safety practices.
